Project objective

Bradbury Stamm needed a brand identity system that could do a lot at once. The goal was to create a new brand look that evoked the credibility of 100+ years of experience combined with its ability to evolve and innovate.  We also wanted to bring more humanity into the brand, spotlighting the people and collaboration behind the work. Our objective was to create a look that felt both traditional and modern, bold yet refined, professional yet approachable — and extend it to a brand identity system flexible enough to stay consistent everywhere its presented.

What we delivered

We built the brand look anchored and inspired by the rounded corners of Bradbury Stamm’s plumb bob icon — a fluid shape that adapts depending on where it’s applied. We paired that with a strong serif for headlines (its mix of squared and rounded terminals keeps it from feeling stiff or institutional) and a clean, legible secondary typeface built for longer-form and instructional content. The palette brings together a brighter version of the company’s original green with a deeper, richer Heritage Pine, striking that balance between experience and innovation.

At the center of it all is the plumb bob badge, which acts as a recurring seal of quality and legacy carrying the brand’s dual promise: Forward Thinking, Trusted Execution. Then, we translated the entire system into a comprehensive set of ready-to-use templates so Bradbury Stamm could put it to work immediately — proposal and PowerPoint templates, tradeshow banners, social media graphics, construction site signage, fleet graphics, and more. We wanted the brand to be more than just a set of guidelines sitting on a shelf, but a user-friendly system the team could pick up and use across every touchpoint from day one.
