Central MN Habitat for Humanity Website

Creating a meaningful online experience

Recently, we completed the launch of a new website for Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH). One of our key objectives for the site was to shine a spotlight on the incredible impact affordable housing has on people’s lives. CMHFH doesn’t just help people build homes. It helps them build stability, self-reliance and much more.

  • 79% of Habitat homeowners obtain better paying jobs.

  • 74% of Habitat homeowners indicate a general improvement in health.

  • 92% of Habitat homes include at least one adult who enrolls in higher education.

We created an online experience using colors and graphics that aligned with the brand, while also designing a look unique to CMHFH. We built the design around arched lines that mimic the shape of the roof in CMHFH’s logo, and we incorporated photography of actual homeowners and volunteers to create an experience authentic to Central Minnesota. Lastly, we included plenty of simple, yet prominent, calls to action to encourage exploration and engagement.

We love partnering with organizations that build better lives in our community.

What our partners say:

“We had an amazing experience working with Gearbox. They were extremely accommodating, despite the shifts within our organization that ended up prolonging our work with them. In the end, we are beyond pleased with our website and incredibly grateful for all the work Gearbox has done to make it look amazing. I’m so glad we chose to work with them.”

Rylie Owen, CMHFH
